Brief history of Teliswiss
- 1999. The company was founded with the aim to promote, to sell and to distribute the mobile phones produced by Telit Trieste, the only Italian company that has ever developed and manufactured mobile phones on an industrial scale. Teliswiss expanded its market beyond the European borders and achieved sales in the North Africa Countries (Morocco, Egypt, Ghana, Algeria and others) and Far East (Malaysia, Philippines and China).
- 2002. Signed an exclusive agency contract with Arima (Taiwanese manufacturer of OEM Note Book for Hewlett Packard and Cellular Phones for Sony Ericsson), and managed to sell Arima Cellphones to TIM Telecom Italia Mobile.
- 2006. Developed the first UMTS modem without cable, integrated into an USB plug. The product was launched on the market through Hutchinson H3G Italy in July 2007 under MOMO Design brand, with great success. Was then copied by all other network operators.
- 2007. A high-speed UMTS modem with built-in Router and RJ45 PSTN Line was introduced in the Swiss and Italian markets. The product was sold to TIM Brazil as well.
- 2008. Began the development of a Desk Top GSM phone for SOHO use for Vodafone Italy (product will be introduced in the market in September 2009, after 18 months of development and testing).
- 2010. Open a new business line with Finmeccanica Group, Military & Security company, with small TDCDMA infrastructure, developed with Potevio – China. Test bench and on-field were performed positively.
- 2013. Signed a contract with Selex ES, daughter company of Finmeccanica, to develop new generation of TETRA Terminal to replace their old version PUMA T3. Product was co-developed in partnership with Chinese R&D House and Italian Engineering Team. Product is expected to be in Mass Production in 2017.
- 2015. Signed an agency contract with DMR leader Celetra – South Korea, to promote and sell its newest DMR Modem and Terminals to Selex, Tier 3 compulsory. Mass delivery is planned for 2017. Alongside the above products developments, Teliswiss continued the import-export business in Consumer Electronics products, in European and Middle East Countries. Turnover EURO 15 millions.
- 2017. Expanding the trading business focusing on RAM / SSD / HDD/ Video-Cards / etc.
- 2018. First supply of Multi-Mode Touch Screen TETRA Terminal to Leonardo S.p.A., NATO Standard.
- 2019. Further expanding the business in the Homeland Security and Mission Critical field, by developing Tier III DMR (Trunking System) together with Leonardo S.p.A.
- 2021. Opening a subsidiary in the Czech Republic to offer more business opportunities to our network of suppliers and clients inside the European Community.
